NEW PARTNER! Genesis Healthcare System

We are proud to announce that we have another new Shoe Angel Partner – Genesis Healthcare System!

Genesis Healthcare System plays a large part in keeping southeastern Ohio healthy, and has provided over a century of care to its inhabitants. Mainly based in Zanesville, Genesis started out as the result of the Bethesda Hospital (est. 1891) and Good Samaritan (est. 1895) joining forces in 1997. The system has expanded since its inception and currently has locations in 6 Ohio counties - Perry, Muskingum, Morgan, Coshocton, Guernsey and Noble.

Genesis not only includes a not-for-profit hospital, but a network of 300+ physicians and several outpatient care facilities. They are the largest healthcare provider in the area that they serve and offer a broad range of services including trauma care, neurosurgery, heart surgery and more!

Genesis’ mission is “To provide compassionate, quality health care.” We are proud to help contribute to making their mission possible by donating 5% of every Shoe Angel purchase made by their employees to the Genesis HealthCare System Foundation. The foundation uses its donations to provide scholarships, Hospice Charity Care, add to the Providence Fund as well as general Hospital needs and renovations.

Everyone on the Shoe Angel team is excited to be working with Genesis Healthcare System, making sure their employees are safe and FEEL GOOD during those long shifts, so they can continue to DO GOOD for their communities!
